Load-In

• Show load-in located at the South side of Chaifetz Arena - approx. 75 ft from the floor, main access through the stage right vom
• Two (2) separate loading docks with levelers (8' x 14')
• One (1) drive-in door (18' x 14')
• Loading Dock has capability to carry a semi through the loading dock door and directly on the event floor

Show Parking

• Tour truck and bus parking is located outside the loading dock area
  • Can accommodate six (6) trucks and/or buses in main loading dock area. Additional truck/bus parking located in attached Fred Weber Lot.
• Shore power is available for up to six (6) buses
  • Includes six (6) 50-amp services, 3 phase
  • One (1) 200-amp connection designated for TV production trucks

Forklifts

• Two (2) Mitsubishi Forklifts available to rent.
  • 4,740lb lifts, propane fueled, max height 15.5 ft. 
  • Fork lengths: (1) 4ft and (1) 8ft

StageRight Portable Stage

• Flexible in location, dimension, and configuration depending on tenant preference
• Can be built to 60' x 40' with variable height of 4' to 6' increments. 
• Included in portable stage configuration:
  • (125) 4' x 8' decks
  • (40) 4' - 6' frames
  • Three (3) sets of steps (Two (2) ADA-compatible handicap ramps)
  • Hand railing, black stage skirt
  • (42) stageright z-frames (adjustable from 12" to 24" in 6" increments).

Barricade - MOJO Blow through barricade

• (32) 4' sections of stage barricade
• (51) sections of outdoor bike rack
• (20) sections of indoor bike rack

Keys

• Keys can be made available upon request
• Keys will be checked out and need to be returned before departing the building

Pyrotechnics

• Pyrotechnics are allowed only with permit issues by the St. Louis Fire Department (314-289-1915)
• A fee must be paid and permits obtained as least two (2) weeks prior to event
• Fireman will be present at all events when any pyrotechnics are used from one hour prior to the show and sign-out is at conclusion of the pyrotechnics display
• There will be a designated room used for storing pyrotechnics
• The Fire Alarm System can be over-ridden for pyrotechnics and foggers

House Reduction System

• Tiffin Reduction System with nine (9) motors and three (3) trusses.
• Curtain split into three (3) sections
  • Center section 80' x 50'
  • Two (2) wings 60' x 50' 
• "Blackout" curtains are also installed in each vomitory and on all levels as light reduction curtains.

Rigging Grid

• Height of entire grid is unifrom at 68' from the arena floor
• Main grid in stage area, distances between 10' - 12' wide and 10' - 12' deep
• Maximum load for single span is 5,000 lbs
• Maximum total show load is 125,000 lbs

Spotlights

• Eight (8) Strong Super Trouper Long Throw with 2000w Xenon Lamps
• All spotlights are located on the catwalk 67'6" from the event floor, allowing each quadrant of the arena to have spotlight accessbility 
• Power sources
  • Ten (10) 3-prong, twist-lock, 250-volt receptacles on a 20-amp, 208-volt breaker

Intercom

• In-house Digital Clear-Com headset communication system located at house lights and all spotlights. 
• Intercom system is digital and does not interface with analog systems. Dryline can be dropped stage right from catwalk and daisy chained to analog belt packs but those belt packs must be supplied by tour. 
• Clear-Com FreeSpeak Digital Wireless Beltpacks (10).

Lighting

• 70 Ephesus Lumadapt 8 RGBA LED light fixtures
• 8 permanently mounted Chauvet Maverick Force 1 spotlights driven by a Chamsys QuickQ 20 lighting controller

Catwalk

• Full square catwalk with middle 'crossover' and dedicated placement areas for ten (10) spotlights
• Two (2) access points - one on each side of the arena
• Catwalk flooring ranges in width from 4'10" to 9'10"

Sound System

• L-Acoustics A15i
• Eight (8) main circular arrays of five(5) A15i loudspeakers each reach out to the seats beyond the main floor
• Single hang of three (3) A15i aimed straight down to cover the floor
  • These are buttressed with four corner fills of three (3) A15i each, plus eight (8) coaxial X12 spread across four more corner locations.
• 16 KS21 subwoofers are loaded into the center arrays
  • Powered by three (3) LA12x amplified controllers, while 34 LA4X drive the rest of the system
• Events are mixed on. a 64 channel Allen & Heath Avantis digital console

Scoreboard

• Four (4) large high definition LED displays sit in each corner of the arena
  • Overall size is approximately 14.5 ft h x 44.5 ft w
  • Feature 6mm line-spacing to provide a crisp, clear, HD image in 1080i resolution
  • West end boards can be utilized for IMAG video during events. See image below as example of this in use. Please reach out to Event Manager for details.

  

• 24 entrance displays and one (1) 360-degree ribbon board 
  • Two (2) large entrance displays measure approximately  2.5 ft h x 10 ft w and 22 smaller entrance displays measure 2.5 ft h x 6.5 ft w
  • All 24 entrance displays feature 10mm line-spacing
  • The 360 degree ribbon board display measures 2 ft h x 968 ft w and features 15 mm line-spacing

Video Control Room

• Equipped with a Ross Carbonite 2 M/E Production Switcher along with a Ross Xpression CG system.
• Grass Valley was selected to provide four (4) of their LDX 80 Elite HD cameras.
  • Two (2) of the cameras are equipped with Fujinon Digipower 55x zoom lenses with optical stabilization
  • Other two (2) handheld cameras are equipped with Fijunon Digipower 23x zoom lenses
  • One (1) of the handhelds also features wireless capability which allows us to go anywhere in the arena to get the perfect shot

 Loaders:

• Loaders are paid by the truck and not hourly.
• Loaders are scheduled in teams of 4.
• 22’ or longer truck require loaders.
• If loaders are then used as hands they are paid per truck AND a 4-hr minimum at handrate

Riggers:

• Riggers are scheduled in teams of 3 (2 up 1 down).
• Riggers max out at 6 points per “up” (12 points per team).

Rates:

• After 8 hours on the load-in call, union will be paid time and one half per hour.
• After 4 hours on show call, union will be paid time and one half per hour.
• Midnight through 7:00AM is double time rate.
• Show hours prior to 30 minutes to curtain are time and one half.
• Show calls are rounded to the nearest ½ hour. After 10 minutes, the show call will round up 30 minutes.
• Show calls are separate calls.
• There can be no pyramiding of hours for purpose of overtime calculations.

Call minimums:

• All calls are a minimum of 4-hour calls.
• Minimum Call is (1) working Steward and (2) Department Heads or (3) Department Heads and (1) non-working steward.

Meals & Meal Penalty:

• Meal must be had between the 4th and 5th hour
  • Either one hour walk for lunch and the show goes dark.
  • OR show feeds crew and union gets a 30 minute meal.
• If a meal is not had prior to the end of the 5th hour and labor is kept on, union will receive additional double their hourly pay each hour until meal is had.

Forklift, House Lights, Camera Operator, and Wardrobe are all Union Positions.
