Chaifetz Arena is a 10,600-seat venue sitting on the campus of Saint Louis University and is privately managed by Oak View Group.
Since opening in 2008, Chaifetz Arena has served as the home venue for the Saint Louis University Billikens men's and women's basketball teams of the Atlantic 10 Conference as well as hosted a diverse range of concerts, family shows, national sporting events, and much more. Audiences have enjoyed performances from Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Janet Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Mary J. Blige, The Killers, Martin Lawrence, and Sabrina Carpenter just to name a few. In addition to concerts, the venue regularly hosts Disney On Ice as well as All Elite Wrestling. Chaifetz Arena is no stranger to national events having hosted the Men's Olympic Gymnastics Trials, SEC Gymnastics Championship, and the League of Legends North American Spring Final.
Since 2022, Chaifetz Arena has been home to SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital's annual benefit concert, Glennon LIVE with performances from Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban, and Cody Johnson.
Chaifetz Arena is named in honor of University alumnus Dr. Richard A. Chaifetz (SHAY-fetz) who made a $12 million naming gift to Saint Louis University. Chaifetz, a 1975 graduate of Saint Louis University, is the Founder and Chairman of Chicago-based ComPsych Corporation, the world's largest provider of employee assistance programs. He is also the founder of the Chaifetz Group, a private investment firm focusing on venture and private equity, real estate, and sports investments. He is the Co-Owner and Executive Partner of the Portland Trail Blazers, and is a Partner of the San Francisco Giants.
